Responsibilities:
  • Support manager with production functions and knowledge of seasons product
  • Create seasonal Work In Progress (WIP) charts, updating and monitoring them on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy in the production process
    • Track samples from vendors via daily email communication with factories
    • Ensure on-time delivery of PP and TOP samples according to seasonal calendar
    • Assist in the collection and tracking of photoshoot samples
  • Partner with manager to track and comment on all bulk fabric and trims via WIP chart
    • Create and update seasonal bulk fabric and trims approval binder
  • Partner with manager in the passing of PP cut tickets to domestic vendors
  • Assist in domestic production
    • Send final patterns to Grading and Marking company for digitizing or G/M
    • Manage domestic production trim inventory and replenishment (hang tags, polybags, main & size labels, etc.)
    • Deliver production trims, care labels and UPC stickers to factories
    • Prepare production cut tickets with swatches and all necessary information
    • Collaborate on domestic quality control
  • Issue all reorder/repeat body TPs to the factories
  • Create the Weekly Launch chart in preparation of the launch meeting
  • Spec TOPs and issue comments/approvals across all categories except denim
  • Create care label chart and update based on factory shared care instructions
  • Assist during production fittings, included but not limited to, steaming, adding images to the tech packs, assisting with fit list, etc.
  • Maintain pattern & cutters must library
  • Handle ad hoc duties related to the product development and production process
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, Product Development, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in design, fashion production and apparel product development (internships also considered)
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and MS Suite, especially Excel
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and regular willingness to travel to local factories
  • Understanding of garment construction and technical knowledge of production
Pay Rate: $17/hr
